These are things David, Jon or I have said over the past year or so that tweaked our funny bones. We know you may just have had to have been there. Or you may have had to have been us. But just for fun:

"We're not watching Star Trek. Not today."
"No, Mommy. It's Daddy's turn to get the kickin out."
"Mommy, may I have water and William not come downstairs please?"

My favorite: "We do not like the sound of moving stool." Speaking of . . . I did notice a pattern in several of them. You just can't get away from potty humor. I know we "shouldn't" laugh, but, it's just so funny. We never fully out-grow the 9-year-old boy in each of us.
For a long time, we kept stools underneath our kitchen counter, but hardly ever used them. The boys would use them however, to get into things they weren't supposed to. So whenever we heard a stool being moved across the floor, we knew it was trouble.
