Philly to Utah

We are so grateful for the opportunity we had to go to Philadelphia, for all we learned and experienced, and for the people we came to know while we were there.

Brother Quilly, originally from Liberia, visited us often to learn Photoshop from David.

My visiting teacher (and Philadelphia 1st Ward's Relief Society President), Carol Kane, and her little daughter took the boys out to play so I could pack for our return to Utah.

That's pretty much all the pictures I have of the folks we met, 'cause I knew I'd start bawling if I ran around trying to catch everyone on film before we left. We really enjoyed Philadelphia.

The boys did TONS better on the flights back. It helped that they each had their own seat.

William, you have a monkey on your back.

We did well (thank heaven) while away from David. He finished up one last week in Philly before taking his week-long trek home ( see http://elementsunearthed.com/).

The boys are glad to have their dad home again.

Miss you a ton, and I know I owe you an email. You are awesome, and I am so grateful for what you wrote last week. I'm looking for a few minutes to breathe . . . and you are on the top of my list for writing to.

It looks like your family had some great experiences and a lot of fun! I'm sure it's something that you will always remember.
I bet it's kind of nice though to be back home in Utah again.

Though we don't have pictures of them, we have links on our blog to the Mannings, Christensens and Hawleys' blogs. Everybody was welcoming, were good friends, and helped us get to know them and serve in the ward. We're grateful.
